We were getting along beautifully and all of the sudden he broke it off.?

I have been seeing this guy for about 6 months. We ran into each other in our hometown. He lives in TN and I live in NC but we have made it a point to see each other every month. I just returned from a 2 week visit and everything was great! I am going through a divorce, he has known that from day one. These things take time and I have alot to prepare to do. Everything was great the entire time. I was supposed to call him when I got home but decided to wait until he got off work. He called worried and I told him I was sorry and that I was just getting ready to call. He got very angry. I thought he would get over it but now have been told by a mutual friend that he doesn't want to have anything else to do with me because he can't trust me. What a crock! I am totally devoted to him and will and have done anything for him. He's gotten mad over nothing before and ends up calling. I am dumbfounded and humiliated. I feel totally used. I sit here wondering, will he ever call?
