Why do many YECs post to me, "You cannot be a Christian and a believer in evolution."? Where does it say that?

Religion and Science are two different things and must be approached differently to have credence. I am a Christian and I believe in quantum physics. Evolution is a credible theory with some holes. Why people think they have to bring Religion and Science together it beyond me. And don't tell me I'm twisting anything. God will be the judge of my soul
