Why do English people keeping wearing England football shirts even though their team is a flop ?

This question was posed in a reply by German newspapers to the story where an English holiday maker was awarded compensation for staying in a hotel occupied by Germans. German newspapers have had a field day since - England last won the world cup in .... when ? How many years ago ! 42 years - ha ha ha ! English are fat. English are always shaven headed with sweet little ear rings - and that's the men ! They always have tatooes and wear football shirts two sizes too small. Their women are bloated and sunburnt. They have little or no style etc etc. Their standards of fitness are low. Their public services are poor and their country dirty, scruffy and gang ridden although the gangs are only kids of 14 or 15 years ! A huge percentage of their school leavers are illiterate and cannot speak English properly yet alone other languages. I am NOT English BTW .... thanks heavens if the German articles are anything to go by ! I can speak five languages as well and English is my fourth.
