Where has all the patriotism gone?
It has gone Into the confused mindsets of British voters. Because what you infer is basically correct. But you have omitted to state that the reason the country has got into its present state is specifically because of the content of the elected UK parliament remaining the same If at the last General Election MPs from the Conservative, Labour & Lib-Dem parties (all of whom we know had MPs who had mostly been on the fiddle and while previously dominating the Commons with their unpatriotism and unrepresentativeness) been booted out en m things could have changed. If the voters had made their anger and dissatisfaction with all three of the old parties clear by voting for other parties like UKIP and ED instead of voting yet again for the perpetuation of the status quo, things could have become different. But the people failed to twig the utter deception enshrined in the Brown-Clegg-Cameron campaign propaganda and failed to seize the opportunity to get change. That is why patriotism in Britain remains a non existent commodity.
