Do you understand that you are not arguing against liberal logic? Liberals are driven by emotion. What you have said is 100% accurate, but watch how liberals respond to it. Emotions cause people to grasp much tighter to their convictions even if those convictions are incorrect and pesky little things like facts are not enough to change people's minds. You could set up a live demonstration of this story and you still wouldn't convince most liberals that what you have said is correct.
