What is the Best Way to install the Liquid Propane gas Pipe?

I want to know the best way to install a liquid propane gas pipe for industrial use ( the Pipe Diameter is 150 mm ), is it underground or above ground, also i would like to know what is the best material of the pipe, is it carbon steel or Stainless steel or PE.
