I personally think that both should be taught in school to give students a different perspective than the one they've likely been taught at home. School is supposed to be about learning a diverse range of material, and if we can learn about varying ideas in history or English, why not teach both ideas? They don't have to be taught as truth. Both ideas should be taught as just ideas so the students know both perspectives but aren't taught to believe in one or the other.
